The World Health Organization (WHO) recently added a new “Gaming Disorder” diagnosis, described as a pathological addiction to video games. Breaking things down and offering an alternative perspective, is Psychology and Data Analytics expert in eSports and video games, as well as the founder of GirlGamerVogue.com, Narz.

In this exclusive podcast interview led by GGT Founder Adesina “Desi” Sanchez, Narz explains the psychology behind video game design, how it intersects with Positive Psychology, and offers advice to those who are dealing with an overuse of video games, as well as a less pathological view of why young people are so drawn to them.

PAX EAST 2018 Recap eMLS PAX Arena [IG Recap]

Finally got around to post some IG Stories from my trip to PAX East.

Super proud to have worked to bring to fruition eMLS!

Appearing at PAX Arena 2018 for the first time ever, eMLS is the first FIFA Tournament in history. Sponsored by SONY, Adidas,  and ATT&T, the tournament saw 30 actually teams being represented by an influencer/pro player in the scene. The tournament lasted all four days of PAX with the winner receiving a contract to represent their team in the World Championship.

I am not a good packer. LoL I pack stuff I don’t need all the time.

Besides working the floor, I got to see some friends and check out other booths! Twitch booth gave away expressos with their cinnamon printed logos! This year there was no live streaming component to Twitch’s booth, a first in history.

My week was a lot of work, but I was able to relax and have fun as well!

You know when you have a staple top you feel the most sensual in? Happy in? Comfortable in? I do. It has to be this @NERDCLOTHING tank. I can wear this top with legging or just shorts (like in the below pic). During the winter, it’s my lounge shirt and during the summer it becomes a tank dress. I’m super happy I bought this. 👓💕

It’s Official. I’m Twitch Affiliate.

I have been on Twitch for over 4 1/2 years and never could I have imagined I could get affiliate. Honestly, recent changes to their partnership programs have made it easier to understand what I needed to do to qualify. Now as an affiliate, I am super motivated to work harder (with my best buddy Cresta Star) to get partnered!

What does it mean to be Twitch Affiliate?

An affiliate is someone who has been invited by the live streaming platform Twitch to monetize their live streams. Affiliates can start earning revenue on their channels via Bits or subs. Affiliates can also earn revenue from the sale of games and in-game items that originate from their channel page. The next step for an Affiliate is to get partnered which increases the percentage of profits received from all revenue sources mentioned above.

Twitch Con 2017 Vlog – ft. Cresta Star, LadyFox

My time at Twitch Con was AMAZING, to say the least. I had the pleasure of rooming with @CrestaStar and @LadyFox while at Long Beach and we could not have been a more perfect posi for the shenanigans that ensue! I was truly inspired by the event to really get my creative juices flowing and really take live streaming and YouTube serious.

Twitch Con 2017 – Spills, Chills, and Thrills Blog + Vlog

What can I say other than I had so much fun at Twitch Con in Long Beach.  It was my first time and I would have to say I had a blast for sure. My friends and I arrived three days earlier than the con so we spent days leading to it enjoy the sights (the weather was amazing!) and eating good food!

The weather really inspired me to find my Californian style. Compared to NYC, it was heaven! Living in NYC, winters can be such a drag wish mountains of snow and yellow slush lakes (Trust me you don’t wanna know what it is). God Bless Cali~

 

 

 

Best time was being Jaccuzzi side on periscope with my girls Cresta and LadyFox. Warning! The contents in that video might rustle some feathers. (LOL)
