I have been MIA thanks to PAX, but thankfully I didn’t stop doing origami while working! Super happy to show the rest and talk about PAX East
In The Fold 100 Days Origami Day 3 -Helmets
4/21/2016 Traveling up to Boston, I realize that we all wear our best armor when we are expecting to tackle a big event. Whether it’s going for a job interview, meeting a blind date, hosting a show, or pitching a proposal we ensure we are prepared for better or worse. Your armor is a colorful declaration of your identity, your thoughts, hobbies, and personality unique to just you.
Always wear your color with pride. No matter what anyone says.
In The Fold 100 Days Origami Day 4 – Boats
4/22/2016 My life currently is literally me as a boat floating in the vast ocean of potential. I can go anywhere and it’ll take me somewhere. One direction will take me a short time to reach land, while others longer and possibly to an island. Deciding which direction to go is nerve wrecking, because you don’t know which way has a storm coming.
Sometime being a floater is ok. You’re taking everything in and being present in the moment. When the time is right, sail.
In The Fold 100 Days Origami Day 5 – Beaks
4/23/2016 Sometimes we take for granted we have mouths. My uncle was born perfectly fine till an accident at a young age caused him to go deaf. He can’t speak well and because of the lack of education for the deaf in Dominican Republic, he never got a proper education. Yet, he can still tell me “I love you”, “Your so beautiful!”, “I’m proud of you!” in his own way. Know that the way you communicate to people is powerful, however slight it is. Our “words” have power that channel our intentions, our desires, feelings, and compassion.
Never let you story be unheard. Do not let it go to the grave.
